Georgia

The Old part of the city is especially interesting, most of the houses were built in XIX century. There reins the spirit of past centuries – rows of small shops of handicraftsmen making copper ware, magnificent aroma of freshly brewed coffee in small cafes. The old city is known for the variety architectural subtleties: buildings are decorated with chimeras, mermaids, atlantes and other mythical creatures.

The architecture of Batumi features the combination of European and Asian styles, the variety of architectural forms. It is possible to see buildings with elements of Georgian, Turkish, Imperial Russian, Soviet, English, French and colonial architectures; the buildings combining European and Oriental architecture. The lights of the evening city are especially beautiful. Modest in the afternoon the buildings turn into majestic palaces by night.

Last 10 years Batumi has changed a lot. Former half-closed regimed border zone turned into tourism paradise and the best holiday place in Georgia. New buildings of banks, transcontinental hotels, modern tourist and sports complexes are under construction; the residential houses being erected conform to world standards.

Vardzia  is a cave monastery site in southern Georgiaexcavated from the slopes of the Erusheti Mountain on the left bank of the Kura River

Built in the 13th century, Rabati castle developed under the influence of dierent cultures over subsequent centuries and this is reflected in its architecture. Within the 7 hectares castle complex there is a Church, a Mosque, a Minaret and a Synagogue.

1/2 anniversary

Yesterday was the first little anniversary in the Communication Office, where I work. I would never believe if someone told me a year ago that I will work at University. I had a dream to teach at University. Today my job is connected with the quality of education. After the interview, I didn’t even expect to get this job.  I think I was inspired by the difference between Ukrainian and Polish education systems. I really love studying here and I want to continue my studies as a PhD student.
This post is not about me, it’s about our “dream team”. I won’t write sweet things about you, guys. Just truth... :) I can’t realize that a half of a year has already passed. I really love you, guys! I want you to know that I’m happy to come to our office every day. We have a nice and pleasant atmosphere. We’re ready to help each other no matter what time it is, is it a weekend or a holiday - we always keep in touch. I was scared to create a Blog but your encouragement made me feel so self-confident. Today I even want to create my own web-site. So, as for me, WE are a great team. We are really like a family, we have common happiness or, sometimes, even sadness. If someone is ill, everyone wants to help. If some have success in any field of life, we are always very proud. Here is a photo of our team on Silesia Days.

Notes not about the topic: in the last few weeks I got some information from different people that their friends like my Blog or that I really inspired someone. Please, if you like my Blog or you have some remarks, if you want to know something or even just to go for a coffee with me, WRITE  to me! I would be glad to get any feedback from you.

#Lwowweekend

This weekend I went to Lvov with my friend Maria. I’ve chosen hashtag #lwowweekend because it was real wow weekend. Ukraine is a very contrasting country. People are mostly friendly and nice. The thing I love the most in Lvov is cuisine. This blog will mostly consist of photos and I’ll give my top 5 places to visit. All museums you can find on Tripadvisor, so I want to tell you about my own #mustvisit places.

1.    Atlas /Rynok Square 45

Great place to visit. I think that sense of humor serves as a criterion in choosing waiters. All of the waiters are unbelievably nice and I was nonstop laughing because they were joking all the time. The dishes were tasty. This place is irreplaceable for breakfasts and cocktail pre-parties. I guarantee you a good mood for the whole day after visiting this place.

2.     Tante Sofie Cafe Escargot / Drukarska 6A

It is a very nice place, looks like a cafe in Provance. Great place to set and think about your awesome life. I’ve tried very tasty soups and Spritz Aperol cocktails. They say there are good snails served in Tante Sofie but I hate snails, so I’m not able to advise.

3.    The Room / Lesi Ukrainky 18

Ideal place to have warm soul evening with your love or best friend. As well it’s an amazing for a pre-parting. Waiters are very nice, cocktails are fantastic. The atmosphere is fabulous because of music ideally sorted out by the manager. The manager talks to everyone and makes a friendly atmosphere.

4.    Churrasco  Grill&Beer / Galytska 13

The place is hard to explain. It a very nice grill bar and blah blah blah. BUT the most distinctive thing here is how they serve beer. The beer is normally in a jar for the jam on the desk with dried fish. This is normal for Russians and Ukrainians tp eat dried fish, but even them can't find it in restaurants just at markets. other nationalities are not used to eat something like that. I think it's an interesting experience.

5.    High Castle Hill

Lviv High Castle can be both a major disappointment and biggest surprise to you! Why disappointment? Because despite its promising name, the place is not that high (unless 413 m is impressive for you) and has no castle whatsoever. Why surprise? Because it offers a quiet refuge from the busy city streets, and it has indubitably the best aerial views of the city!

Notes: my top 5 places are for people who has already been to Lvov and just want to have a rest. If you are going there for the first time, I found for you a very nice web page with all need pieces of advice for your trip.

#tatramountains weekend

Sure a beachside bungalow was made for a fine summer holiday. But nothing can quite match a magical vacation in the mountains, with those toasty warm days, but crisp and cool evenings. This is the perfect balm for the harried urban soul. And it’s true, once you arrive in the highlands, you never need worry about sticky humid air or constant sand in your shorts.

My #tatramountains weekend for July took place in the south of Poland, in the Tatra mountains. We wanted to go hiking this summer, and we wanted to find some place different. After a bit of searching online, we decided on the Tatra mountains on the border between Poland and Slovakia. We booked  Rezydencja Nosalowy Dwór in Zakopane. Now we're back at home and ready to summarize this adventure. In fact, this holiday contained lots of different elements. The hiking was the highlight but we also had time for some sightseeing, history, culture, SPA and of course enjoying the Polish cuisine.

So, what about hiking in the Tatra mountains then?

On the plus side:
The views are spectacular. The trails are clearly marked and well maintained. There are plenty of chalets to visit for a meal or a drink. The mountains are easy to access with minibusses going to all the main entrances to the mountains. It is great for day trips, staying in Zakopane.

On the minus side:
It is crowded!! This is basically the only mountains in Poland, so it seems like all Polish people looking for a hiking holiday goes to the Tatra mountains.

One odd thing that we realized was that Polish hikers don't seem to wear the same things as we're used to... We always walk with walking boots and with clothes suited for hiking (breathable, waterproof). But here most people looked like they were on a Sunday stroll, wearing jeans, t-shirts, and sandals. The hikes were not that advanced, but still quite steep and rocky at places so it must have been a challenge to walk in pretty gold sandals and a handbag over the shoulder...

It was my first experience of taking a rest in summer in mountains. It was really nice and the best thing was to come back after wild mountains to civilization. The hotel was great, super modern with a divine Wellness SPA zone. So I would rather advise you to try it once, but it’s better to go there not on the vacation period. I’m planning my next hiking on October, so see you there.

P.S: Thanks to my friend Deniz Yashar-Rymkiewicz for an invitation, it was a really amazing weekend.

Limitations of thinking

Today I want to write something about limitations in our brains and how not to spare yourself. I want to start from a short story how I’ve decided to write this post. Last 3 months I had a very responsible and active time when I had no time for thinking, for philosophy, I was just nonstop solving my everyday problems and even hadn’t understood yet, that I graduated and now I have a lot of  new goals to achieve. I realized that I have no inspiration, I had no ideas for the blog and sometimes even thought that my soul is empty. It was a perfect time to fall in love and I’ve done it. I was flying like a butterfly, but still, there was no inspiration. Once my soul friend called me and said: “Hey, baby, what’s happened, you are so calm, someone died?”. I laughed and told that I’m in love, but now I know, that right answer was: “Yes, my freedom is dead!”.
I’ve already told you about limitations in our way of thinking. Destruction of this limitation will open you million new possibilities. You have to feel freedom every second of yours. I don’t mean leave your boyfriend/husband/girlfriend/wife and go crazy. Freedom is the way of thinking, everything in this World is conditional. We created this conditions and now we’re suffering from them. Society is a system of conditions, but try to imagine that everything in the World is for free, money is just pieces of paper. Your main treasure is your emotions. We are set of cells, they are just atoms, atoms are energy, so we are just energy. Create positive energy and everything in your life will get in right(for you) order. If something would happen in your life and you will lose everything, even pants, what will you have? Most of you will answer: “Nothing!”. I will tell: “My memories...”. Try to live, like it’s the last day in your life. To live like it’s the last day don’t mean to skydive every day or do something crazy every day, just to take pleasure of every moment in your routine life. But surprise yourself from time to time, be groundbreaking, sometimes our actions have to be on the verge of insanity to feel the taste of life.

"A loving relationship is one in which the loved one is free to be himself — to laugh with me, but never at me; to cry with me, but never because of me; to love life, to love himself, to love being loved. Such a relationship is based upon freedom and can never grow in a jealous heart."

Small art every day

If you have a total mess in your head, try not to take care and just for a minute. Life is too fast, the rhythm of the big city is making your life very routine. If you understand that you have nothing(mentally) to share, take a day-off. I’ve done it yesterday (hope, that my boss doesn’t read it;)).
After all this graduation stuff, I really had to put all my thoughts together as a puzzle

First part of my day-off I walked around a new district in my city looking for a decoration shop.

It was funny, I was making Selfie-videos with new interesting buildings. One of them was covered by ivy, this is my house of dreams. After a long What’sApp talk with my friend in Starbucks (best place to spend time along and yourself like a hipster) I was so inspired that I decided to make some art by my own.

I asked my friend to help me and after some shopping and dinner, I came to her home. Till 2 a.m. I was making the photo album for my Family. The topic of the album is “Our 2 years in Poland”.

Here are the results of my creative work that I've spent numerous ours on. Hope, that my family will enjoy and estimate my creativity.

This post is very short, but the main idea is very easy. Don’t hurry up. Live full life. Be creative and make small art every time you can. You will be very proud of yourself and other people will be inspired by you or just pleased if you will do something cute for them.

My friends – my everything

As you know, here in my blog, I’m writing my thoughts taken from my own experience, so it doesn’t mean you have to agree with my opinion.

After this very friendly weekend, I want to tell you my big love to my friends. There are 7 billion different people in the World. Some of them are my friends, and I love you, guys, really, if you read this, I really love you, you’re my family.

Friendship for most people is a combination of affection, loyalty, love, respect, and trust. The general traits of a friendship include similar interests, mutual respect and an attachment to each other, and in order to experience friendship, you need to have true friends.
Friendship can mean different things to different people. For some people, it is simply the trust that someone will not hurt you. For others, it might be unconditional love or just normal companionship. Whatever your own definition is, friendship is often considered as a mutual and agreeable relationship between two individuals, and that’s a good thing, as it has been said that a person who finds a true friend has found a priceless treasure.

As for me, there is no definition of friendship. Every person plays his/her special role in my life and I’m unbelievably grateful to all people I’ve ever met. Some of them are my soul’s friends, some are just “fellow-travellers”, but the thing I’ve exactly defined is there are no needless people on the road of your life.  I think we are supposed just to accept people the way they are, love them anyway.

Last month was very fast and stressful and I was very happy to stop this weekend for 2 days. The whole weekend I had meetings with my friends and I’m so happy to start this week after such warm days full of friendly laughing.

I’m able to conclude happily that people in my life are so nice to me that I really don’t know why I’m such a lucky person. My own happiness recipe is just to be a frank person and generate only positive energy. My experience claims that following these simple instructions you will be surrounded by people who are very kind to you. Even if you have a bad day(everyone has), you will have people to share it with you. On the other hand, happy emotions are multiplied with real friends.

Inspiration of next week and the whole life : your friends.
Advice of the day: send the people you love simple message explaining how you appreciate him/her.

Talent of life living - Jan Adamski

This Tuesday I took part in extraordinary lecture about man’s styling. The lecture was called “Well-dressed manager” and was provided by Jan Adamski - entrepreneur, image consultant and blogger. The event was organized by Vice-Rector for Education and International Cooperation of University of Economics in Katowice - Prof. Wojciech Dyduch, Ph.D..

The thing I love the most in lectures prepared by males ( sorry, ladies) is its clearness and the presentation of necessary  information only. The guide of man’s stylization was prepared in perfectly neat way.
Even if you have never heard anything about style or you have never worn a suit, you would get the full package of needed information to look classy.
Everything was explained with the support of examples of real people (celebrities).
Undoubtedly I used this possibility to ask Jan Amadski some questions to share with you another point of view on inspiration. Here is short interview given me by incredibly classy Jan Adamski.

What do you note at the first meeting with the person? And what do you think is the most distinctive in woman’s and man’s fashion?

I put very big attention to the shoes; this is very conspicuous. Secondly, I pay attention to color rip, are the colors well-combined. Are the individual components of the whole costume well-chosen in terms of colors.

Did the situation when great style “saved your life” ever take place in your life? Has it helped you in your career ?

Hhhm, has it taken place? I think, that if we talk about saving life – definitely no, but well-chosen dress always changes people’s attitude to a person. Undoubtedly a good attire opens many different doors.

There is a question I ask every time because my blog is about inspiration: What inspires you?

Huh, well, I generally really like the Italian style; I am very inspired by such a loose style which is called sprezzatura. It is a combination of elegance with such nonchalance in costume. I feel very comfortable in it. My second inspiration is using colors. I love the colors and I often use colorful elements in my stylizations, sometimes they are very controversial.

As I told you hundred times - look around! People who surround you are the best source of inspiration.

Talent of life living - Robert Biedroń

First of all, I would like to apologize for my long absence.

I had a very intense period and it’s still the same. As you know I’m graduating, so I have lots of things to do and I have a great job, full of events, so I’m non-stop inspired and excited.
Every time I want to share it with you, but unfortunately there are just 24 hours in a day, so now I have a list of things to tell you. I promise, I’ll try to write more often.

Let’s start from the Talent of life living.
Two weeks ago I was at a great conference called #LeadersOfTomorrow. It was organized in my Alma Mater - the University of Economics in Katowice, by our new Rector -
Prof. Robert Tomanek, Ph.D.. I’ll make a separate post about my personal experience, because I was making notes during the whole conference. I want to share it with you, because it’s a great practical experience. The idea was to expose leadership skills of students with the help of open dialog with successful people.

One of the most open people at that conference was Robert Biedroń, a Polish LGBT activist and politician. He was previously a member of Social Democracy of the Republic of Poland party and the Democratic Left Alliance member of Your Movement. He also serves on the board of the Polish Campaign Against Homophobia. Formerly a member of the Sejm, he is currently the mayor of Słupsk. This is the information you’re able to find in Wikipedia. But I want to tell you not about his biography, but about his spirit and charm.

His speech was very inspiring and he started from telling us that he can make mistakes and we all can interrupt him and ask about everything we want. I’m crazy about details! The most important for me was that he wasn’t sitting during his speech and everyone saw that he was a little bit nervous at the beginning. He looked so natural, not like a politician. I had a feeling he invited me for a cup of tea to discuss the problem of discrimination.

The key thesis of the speech was: “Variety is an imminent feature of any society.”

After the conference I asked him some questions for myself and I got a great answer that I wanted to hear: ”Be yourself and do what you do, you’re great in the way you are “. I think, this phrase can easily explain the sense of this personality.
Why is Robert Biedroń so inspiring? Because he is easygoing. I think this trait is very important and it’s the key for success.
It seems that now I can easily send him an e-mail – tell him that I'm in the city at the moment and invite him for a warm talk with a cup of coffee, maybe beer;)  I don’t know yet if it may really happen...

Just try to accept the fact that everyone is different to you and smile. It will make your life easier and more colourful. If you will try to interpret society as a colour palette, you will see how beautiful and unbelievably exciting your life is. People who surround you are very many-sided personalities. Just take a good look!

Guide to the Lost Art of Writing Letters

Today my day started from small philosophic discussion with my soul friend about “emoticons” and their importance in our life. I’m in love with writing letters and sending them. My friends live all over the world so I send letter not only around Europe, but to Africa, America and even to Asia. Some people think it’s old-fashioned, but as for me it very romantic. I love writing even small notes and leave them near the doors of my friends. It can be a simple text like: “Have a great day, dear? You’re so cool!;)”. I consider this small thing shows your tender attitude to another person all the more we live in the “age of emoticons”.
We love emoji, but the expanse of a blank sheet of paper provides endless possibilities to express yourself. I have a small collection of received letters and notes. Sometimes if it's rainy, I read them with a great pleasure. So I decided to set up a small Guide to the Lost Art of Writing Letters. During the creation of this Guide I used the works written in 1876 by  J. Willis Westlake, an English Literature professor at the State Normal School in Millersville, Pennsylvania. Reading his works gave me a piece of good advice in writing, but it very complicated. My Guide will be simple and there will be tips for the beginners in this Lost Art

Get over your fear.
You’re in control of what you write or don’t write. You don’t have to follow some love letter template or write poetry or sappy phrases unless you want to. The best thing you can do is be yourself in your letter.
      Set the mood.
Go somewhere private and shut the door. Try to remove as many distractions as possible. Create an ambiance that inspires you with candlelight or music. Maybe there is a song, that reminds you about the person you write to, look at his/her photo.
Reflect on your feelings. We all have moments where we feel very deeply about the ones we love.. Experience the physical and emotional feelings of that moment as deeply as you can.
           Use memories to guide you.
You have probably shared many special moments with the person you write to. You have a history with your significant other that only you two share. Think about the story of when you two first  met each other.

Think and write about the future.
Your relationship has a past but it also has a future that you want to encourage in your letter. If you’re apart, describe all the things you want to do together when you’re reunited. Discuss some goals, dreams and fantasies you have about your future life. Write it all down.
Consider if it was your last day on earth.
Many love letters have made their rounds from soldiers at the battlefront throughout history. It can give you some perspective to think about what you would say if there might not be at Tomorrow. Make every word count, and don't be shy, no matter if it’s a love letter or not.

Inspiration of the day: letters and cute notes

Advice of the day: write a letter or a simple note.
