This post is for
people with a good sense of humour. So don't be mad if you recognize yourself in one of my examples.
Yesterday was the International Women’s Day
and I made a big party just for girls and haven’t expected that the topic of
epic fails in making presents will come up in our talk.
So I decided to
prepare for you the ranking of “epic” presents based on mine and my friends’
experience.
1.
Pans,
vacuum cleaners and any home appliances .
2.
Any
facial cosmetics, unless it was agreed before. Never present creams like
30+,50+,60+, etc. It’s prohibited to buy cosmetics for problem skin and
anything that girl is able to consider as a hint . Annual membership in a
fitness centre will also be considered as a hint.

pairs of socks and a black hat (just an example of awful present my friend
received from her boyfriend)
4.
Something
what YOU want and will take when your lady will recognize it as useless. For example
when granny bought you a coat and then wears it or when boyfriend bought you a
new game for Play Station (the problem is that you don’t have a Play Station).
5.
If
you don’t know lady’s size, don’t buy clothes for her !!! Especially underwear.
I have a friend whose boyfriend decided
to go for shopping with her best friend. He bought a bra two sizes bigger than
it was needed .
6.
Don’t
buy pets even if lady keeps telling you about how cute they are all days long.
If she didn’t buy it herself, she is not ready or has another one already.
7.
Try
not to make 1 present for 2 or more occasions. Once my friend’s boyfriend
decided to combine her birthday, Valentine’s day and their engagement. As a
result they divorced in a year.
8.
No
present at all. Ladies are emotional. Flowers are always a great idea. Don’t
have enough money – make a sweet video! No matter who is she – your mother,
wife, sister, girlfriend, etc. She is a woman, so lots of photos with nice
words and cute love song will save the situation.
9.
If
you forgot to buy a present, never tell someone :”I’ve ordered a present for
you, but it still coming”. Everyone knows that you are lying or in some time they
will find it out.
10. I know that everyone has lots of useless presents. But try not to present them again, because there is a big
risk that someone will reveal you. This Christmas I found out that the present
I had got from my friend had been
already made for him before by another person.
